An avid reader, Tilly likes a variety of genres ranging from Homer to horror.
Tilly has a degree in the combined humanities of Literature, History and Sociology and runs a boutique market-ing agency when she is not writing.
Tilly writes erotica for people over the age of 18 only.
What inspires you to write?
I have always been a fan of the written word. My inspiration to write probably came from my love of books as a child, I found that a book could take me to places I really wanted to go.
Tell us about your writing process.
I use an old laptop with no internet as I get easily distracted.
I plan a book and even cut pictures of people out of magazines so that I can recall what my characters look like.
It works for me to plan, as I feel like I am achieving something every day.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
No I do not talk to my characters, but sometimes I do get mad with them.
I am attracted to some of the characters I invent, which I feel is even stranger1
What advice would you give other writers?
Don’t give up!
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I used to have a publisher, but broke with them this year to self publish. I felt that I had more investment in my books that a publisher and it was attractive to be able to have so much control over my books.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I think that it is brilliant that people can read what they want now, due to the changes in publishing.
What genres do you write?
adult romance, erotica, horror
