Samantha L. lives with her parents and plans on doing so for another twenty years if her writing career doesn’t end well. She thinks it’s necessary for authors to own a pet since all the big shot authors seem to own one (or more). To have good luck on her side, she got herself a dog. On rare occasions that she’s not at home, she’s probably with her friends giggling about the cute boy sitting across their table.
What inspires you to write?
I daydream a lot. It needs to be let out, writing is my outlet.
Tell us about your writing process.
I outline a little but I’m mostly a spontaneous writer. I like to let my characters decide where they want to go while I’m writing, but I do the world building before the actual writing.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I listen and talk to my characters. They just wouldn’t shut up sometimes.
What advice would you give other writers?
Keep writing.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I needed money to pay my school fees, and since writing seems to be the only thing I can do well, I thought I’d give it a shot.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
It’ll flourish. Especially the ebook industry.
