What inspires you to write?
Growing up as a kid, I made a bold decision to follow my dreams in life as a musician and that really brought challenges. I went through a lot and that motivated me to develop a blog. Through that I became a writer as well as a story teller. I started writing when I was 22.
Tell us about your writing process.
I relax and think about what am about to write. My hopes, hurts, fears andI just let my fingers flow above the keys.If I don’t like what I’m writing I will abandon the idea or look for a way to improve the way I’m writing about it.
Also to focus, sometimes I prefer distraction free writing. I like to stroll a lot too
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
It’s very helpful to talk to your characters when writing, Sometimes is just like waking up in the morning with no money in your pocket. The only way is to communicate with nature to help you.
Having “people in my head” is also a strong motivation for me to write, because i feel like I have an obligation to “real people” to finish my stories.
What advice would you give other writers?
Now. I have a complicated relationship with giving writing advice. I never know whether what works for me will work for others, or even that what works for me will work for me again next time I try it. We all got purpose on this planet so always believe in your maker and ask for directions.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
Most at times i start with self writing and finally i will call for help because no one is perfect and two heads are better than one so i believe in team work.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
With more creative, intelligent, responsible and innovative writers i think the future is bright.
