What inspires you to write?
My biggest inspiration and drive to write books is to help people improve their lives and attain better health, wellness, and balance.
Tell us about your writing process.
I’m definitely an outliner. I’d like to have as much structure as possible before I even start writing so I have a clear idea of what topics I’m going to write about and in what order. I occasionally use a whiteboard to make an outline, but most of the time I just use a Word document.
What advice would you give other writers?
My advice would be to focus on the areas that you have expertise in or feel most comfortable writing about. Also, never give up! Writing a book can be a challenge at times but as long as you stick to it, keep working hard, and believe in yourself, you will succeed.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I read an article online about the big advantages of self-publishing and went that route. I think self-publishing is the most obvious choice for many aspiring writers these days.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
The future of book publishing will go more and more in the direction of eBooks, which are rapidly overtaking print books. I also think audiobooks have a huge potential for the future.
