What inspires you to write?
Because of my passion for creating exciting stories. Had this passion ever since I was a boy.
Tell us about your writing process.
First I have to decide the genre: either a crime thriller, a paranormal horror, or a science horror. Once I decide that then I plan out what it will be about. If its possible as a potential good seller then I begin writing. I need to be sure about what I will write before I start. I don't outline. I create as I write.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
No. But I imagine I am in their presence. Whatever they say to others must be realistic in the way they talk. In other words if any if them were talking to me would I regard that as normal talk or conversation? If I do then I have written it in correctly.
What advice would you give other writers?
Writing is something you really want to do. Unless you are superfamous or superconnected like Stephen King or James Patterson, don't ever give up your day job. Most writers won't get rich writing. But if you still really want to write don't ever give up. Every author gets tons of rejections. Their success eventually comes as long as they don't give up.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
Through trial and error. a lengthy persistence, failing at getting an agent, discovering that I didn't need an agent, and thus finding traditional publishing companies on my own. Also finding a self publishing company that did not charge for it. An agent can be helpful but not necessary to get published. You can submit directly to the smaller traditional publishing companies without an agent. They are just as good as the bigger ones.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
Will always exist. May be more digital than now in the future.
What genres do you write?: Paranormal horror, marine animal thrillers, crime thrillers, wild animal thrillers
What formats are your books in?: Both eBook and Print
