What inspires you to write?
Having amassed a highly successful track record advising managers and human resources professionals, I decided to write “USE PROTECTION.” My goal was to produce highly accessible how-to manual for employees from the perspective of someone who has been “on the other side.”
Tell us about your writing process.
I write directly into a text editor, trying to get everything down first. Once I see what I have, I organize, refine, do more research, reorganize, and refine further. Then I leave the draft untouched for a while, so that I can come back to it with a fresh view.
What advice would you give other writers?
Persist. Persist. Persist.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
Having worked for management and human resources professionals for so many years, I thought I had a lot to say to employees — especially new employees who are just starting their careers — about the “hidden rules” of the workplace.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
There’s little doubt that electronic publishing will soon dominate the market, and that independent self-publishing will continue grow.
What genres do you write?
What formats are your books in?
Both eBook and Print
