… I really don't know what else to add here… Just smile and wave boys, smile and wave 😉
What inspires you to write?
My dreams inspire me.
I will wake up in the middle of the night and scribble an idea on a notepad. Half of my sleepy scrawls I can't even read, but the ones I can are almost always hits.
Tell us about your writing process.
I usually fly by the seat of my pants when I write. My characters tell their own stories, sometimes I can barely keep up with them!
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I don't talk to my characters, I listen to them. They are a loud bunch!
What advice would you give other writers?
My advice? Edit, edit, edit, then edit some more. Editing is my least favorite thing. Marketing is even worse… I wish I'd known sooner about the marketing aspect of becoming an Indie Writer.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I decided to publish with Kindle Direct. It offers the most in marketing terms (ie free days), to generate interest for your book. Also, don't list your book price too high, but you can't list it too low either. Research other Authors in your genre. For myself, I felt that $1.99 for the first book was fair.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
Publishing in the future… hmm. I haven't given this much thought. I suppose that big Publishers will become extinct. Why pay all that overhead when you can list everything yourself?
