About Ditter Kellen:
Bestselling author of Romantic Suspense. A former 911 dispatcher turned author, Ditter Kellen has been in love with romance for over twenty years. To say she’s addicted to reading is an understatement. Her ebook reader is an extension of her and holds many of her fantasies and secrets. It’s filled with dragons, shifters, vampires, ghosts and many more jaw-dropping characters who keep her entertained on a daily basis.
Ditter’s love of paranormal and outrageous imagination have conspired together to bring her where she is today…sitting in front of her computer allowing them free rein. Writing is her passion, what she was born to do. I hope you will enjoy reading her stories as much as she loves spinning them. Ditter resides in Florida with her husband and many unique farm animals. She adores French fries and her phone is permanently attached to her ear. You can contact Ditter by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
What inspires you to write?
My career began as a Blogger and book reviewer. I blogged under the name Ditterthegreat, which is where The Neighbor Chronicles were born. A comedy skit based off actual events that went viral. www.accordingtoditter.blogspot.com. Before that I read a book a day for pure pleasure.
Tell us about your writing process.
Dreams! I dream in color and can remember every detail about my dreams. I have so many partial books started and ideas written down from dreams that I will never be able to write them all.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I see them in my head like a movie.
What advice would you give other writers?
Stay with it if you enjoy it. The more you write, the easier it gets!
How did you decide how to publish your books?
I went with a publisher in the beginning, but then wanted to try self publishing. My husband and I are teaming up in this effort. I write and he promotes. So far it has been amazing.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I think that more and more authors will self publish in the beginning and go to a traditional publisher if their books start selling really well.
