About Deanna Anderson:
Deanna Anderson is married and the mom of two beautiful teenage daughters. In addition to self-publishing books she freelances for Circle Magazine, Lakeside Magazine, and her local newspaper The Sumter Item. She enjoys hiking, camping, being with friends and family, and advocating for the protection of wildflowers. She is a member and a Community Advocate for Sumter County Active Lifestyles (SCAL).
What inspires you to write?
Just about everything can inspire me to write, but basically the stories are in my head and they need to go somewhere.
Tell us about your writing process.
I will write anywhere and anytime and on any available and writable surface.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I have inner dialogues with them.
What advice would you give other writers?
Keep trying! Never give up your dream of being a published writer.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
My brother actually went through Create Space and so based on his advice that is who I chose after doing the traditional route without much success.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
I think we are going to see more innovative ways to read or interact with writers, characters, and books.
