Hi,My name is Brendan Clark and I’m 17 and I live on the westside in Chicago,IL. i have been writing short stories, poetry etc..since the 8 Th grade. Even when i was in the 8 grade i did not know if i like writing at all. But ever since that day in my 8th grade English i started writing poetry like pro.I have been writing and together a poetry book of mine and just publish it on amazon.com. i wrote a poetry book and its called” Words From An Unknown Poet”.
What inspires you to write?
what inspire me to write was my 8th grade English teacher Mr. smart. my teacher always teach us how writing can show our character while doing essays. my teachers would push me to do my best in my work including of course poetry . my mom also support me in my goals in my life and my future and most of my reading come everything that is happening in Chicago.
Tell us about your writing process.
my writing process start on a Saturday morning sitting at my desk in my room and look over the draft of my work and edit them. then i have a few of my friends and family reads some poems that i made which is 15 to 20 poems. after that is done i would take a few weeks to review everything that i wrote and my changes to my book. finally, i would publish my book with createspace which then i can put my book on amazon and estore online.
What advice would you give other writers?
my advice would to find your inspiration for writing first and writing on the computer every chance you get.
also create a first draft, second draft, and third final draft for edit and publish online and promote yourself and your book

i think that books will still be around in the future but online book are more easy for young people to get more faster.
