What inspires you to write?
Books inspire me to write. When I read books, stories or blogs, I feel like I can write a little better or almost the same. Also, I feel I should write to convey my opinions and thoughts to people.
What authors do you read when you aren’t writing?
Ved Prakash Sharma and Surender Mohan Pathak are my favourite writers whose novels inspired me to write my own novel.
Tell us about your writing process.
Before writing a book, I shoot a complete movie in my imagination. Then I write some main points on MS-Word. Then, I divide those points chapter by chapter and start writing my book on my smartphone.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I feel like I can feel the characters I create for my stories. To be honest, I play the main character of my story in my imagination.
What advice would you give other writers?
To be a good writer, you need to be a good reader. First, start reading as much as you can and then try writing yourself.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
When I wrote my first short story in May 2018, I had no idea how to publish it. To be honest, I did not have the money to self-publish by buying a self-publishing package. Also, it would require a long book. Later one day, I found out that KDP offers free publishing service where anyone can publish their short story as an ebook. Then I started self-publishing my short stories one by one.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
At present, book publishing has become an easy process. It is going to become even easier in the near future. But in the growing digital age, we need to be more cautious about book publishing. It is a challenge for us to keep the paperback format alive in the age of e-books.
What genres do you write?: children, romance, comedy, politics, fiction, poetry
