What inspires you to write?
I honestly write heavily about nostalgia and estrangement and belonging. I do write about love and loss too. These are like the few things that keep circling my mind so these things definitely inspire my writing.
Tell us about your writing process.
I honestly never really understood my writing process. I mean there is the writing, then gathering, then reviewing, omitting, cross-checking and then compiling the book. But I've never understood the internal process of how and why and when do I write. It's still a mystery to me.
What advice would you give other writers?
Read. Read. And keep reading. The process of learning should never stop. Always have faith in yourself and your art. Remember that if your art won't speak to yourself, it will never speak to anybody else.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
My friends introduced me to what are poetry collections and I did a lot of research and found out I can self-publish too. I went for it.
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
In the coming age, visual will hold it's spot as the number one source of entertainment. But books are not going to vanish into oblivion. No matter how far technology goes, readership may go down but books will be there for the long run.
What genres do you write?: Poetry and Non-fiction Essays.
What formats are your books in?: Both eBook and Print
