In a galactic mating contest where desire is deadly, the only guys she wants are the three she can never trust.
In a faraway galaxy on the edge of apocalypse, cyber samurai Kaia of Kryll is the daughter of a tyrant who’s worshipped as a god by billions. A prison sentence she’ll kill to escape, since women like Kaia are worshipped in chains. And she’s just become the prize five hundred testosterone-fueled suitors will lie, seduce, and slaughter to possess in a ritual contest for her bed.
In the scramble to slip past her samurai defenses into her cybersuit, the only guys she wants are the three she can never trust. These four have a boatload of shared secrets and a shared passion so combustible it’s practically pyrophoric—breaking every dangerous rule on a world where lovers are crucified for unconventional unions. Their illicit heat will either end the war destroying all their races…

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I was reading The Hunger Games and had the idea of a galactic mating contest with a rebel princess and 500 aggressive suitors who'd kill to win the girl. The winner rules the galaxy. But the heroine wants nothing to do with any of it.
Throw in the galaxy's most mesmerizing telepath, one scourge-of-the-galaxy space pirate, and the icy imperial enforcer who's both his deadly enemy AND his mouthwatering obsession, and there was my story.
This is a reverse harem romance with three heroes, one heroine, M/F, M/M and MMMF action, and a cliffhanger ending.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
Would it be terrible of me to say…watching Adam Driver in Star Wars: The Force Awakens? Because he actually did inspire one of my three heroes!
I think of my heroine as a redheaded Princess Leia with a cyber saber; she's a gun-for-hire hacker in the cyberverse, where if you screw up, you die in real life.
“Mars,” he breathed, raw and ragged with wanting. “A guy could get used to the way you look at me. Better warn you I’m about six ticks away from tossing you over my shoulder and taking you back with me to the Relentless. And to hell with the auction. You’re mine.”
She added an extra sway to her hips and watched his eyes darken to navy. “That doesn’t sound very civilized.”
“I’m a space pirate, sweetheart. I don’t do civilized all that well. Never have.” One tawny brow hitched. “Neither do you, by the way.”
“To everyone’s dismay.” She laughed, but it held a bitter edge.
“Not mine,” he fired back, gruff with anticipation. “I know what I’m getting. And I wouldn’t change a goddamn thing.”
“Right back at you,” she whispered, low in her throat.
Two cubits away, she tilted her head and looked up at him. He was way too tall for what she had in mind.
She put her back to the viewport and hopped lithely to the ledge, using her acrobat’s strength to swing her bottom up to sit. He was still taller than she wanted.
But not by much.
Booted legs dangling, gaze never leaving his, she spread her knees wide in invitation and hooked a hand in his belt to pull him close.
