What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Vasant Parmar is an activist running the “Jati Mukt Bharat” campaign through online awareness posts on various social media platforms. A software engineer by profession, and inspired by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s writings, he pledges to fulfill the incomplete dreams of Baba Saheb. He is a software engineer by education and a naive writer by hobby.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
I had a long time desire to write something meaningful which can provoke Indian urban youth to abolish cruel Indian Caste System. I started carving characters through various incidents and ensured that characters do not represent any Caste group. All the characters are with Urban Indian youth background.
“If God comes to you and asks to be born again, what relationship would you like to have with me?”
Ketan’s iPhone vibrated with a message notification, from Tanvi. He glanced at it in hurry, ignored and put it back in his jeans pocket as he was unloading his luggage from rented car at the departure terminal of O’Hare International Airport. He was running short in time to catch flight from Chicago to Mumbai. It was a long-awaited journey, ever since he got deputed at onsite, for a project assignment against his will, due to business compulsion. He committed for two months and it was his last day in USA. The previous day was enormously busy, with many last-minute activities and office formalities for him, despite, he managed to spare some time to bid adieu to his colleagues and friends a day before. Check-ins & security checks took the expected time.
