What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
This book started out as a short story that I did for a Modern-Day Fairytale Anthology. I liked it so much that I decided to make it a solo novelette. I really enjoyed how the story turned out.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
I was thinking on how I could make this a unique story. Then the thought occurred to me, why not make it where the man is the one in poverty and the woman is the rich girl? And then I thought it should be centered around shoes. That is how Charmaine Princeton became a salesman in a fancy shoe store and Ella Cinders wound up being a pretty rich girl.
Charmaine was more into petite feet. He wasn't sure exactly why. He just found them more appealing. They had to be slender and curvy. Pretty much like the woman herself. Not many of his type ever graced the store, much to his dismay. He would often dream about the perfect woman. The problem was that he could never find her in reality.
