How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
It is not really about how my genre is different than others, it is about how my book is different than other books in my genre. That’s the way I look at it.
My book is a non-fiction book. There are tons of books on all aspects of real estate. I will say that I narrowed down my niche inside my genre to how to sell a home.
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
I would study and learn as much as I could about the self publishing industry. However, don’t get paralysis of analysis and never get started on your book. At some point you have to be like nicke and just do it!
What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I have been a top real estate agent for 35 years. Real estate has been good to me. I feel an obligation to give back. All the knowledge and information about real estate stored in my little pea-pickin’ brain should not be wasted. It should be shared. At this point in my career, it’s more about giving back. I enjoy being able to do that. I derive personal satisfaction in writing this book and knowing it will help people in selling their home. Here is my purpose statement.
“My purpose is to use my knowledge and experience in real estate, business, and life to educate and enrich the lives of others.”

The first thing you need to know is I am all about real estate. That is all I have done my entire adult life. I have been involved in selling over 1,700 homes.You benefit by having access to 101% of everything I have learned about real estate. My goal is to share with you the knowledge I have learned so you too can be successful in your real estate endeavors.
When I am not selling real estate or writing books, I like to head to the mountains to take in the views of beautiful waterfalls and gorgeous scenery. Some of the waterfalls have such powerful rushing water! You have to be there to feel it and sense it. There is always adventure and fun things to discover in the mountains.
I also enjoy traveling and have been fortunate enough to go on six cruises.
