What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I had been reading urban fiction books for 25 years. Suddenly I was downloading ebooks and became bored with the same story lines. One day I picked up a pen and began writing.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
I would be in the middle of writing and ask my family and friends to give me a name as I describe the character.
China and Tara pulled up to the Beau Rivage Casino to meet Karissa and Layla for a good time at the casino. China drove a black BMW rolling on black and chrome twenty two inch rims given to her from her brother Morco Jr. who was killed by Biloxi police department during a traffic stop. Morco Jr. was the victim of racial profiling because of his family name. The two cops responsible for his death were rookies on the police force and unaware of the power The Dome Family name held in Mississippi.

“What’s up bitches,” shouted Laylah, representing to be the loudest of the pack. Laylah grew up in New Orleans in the Caleo Projects raised by her father Major Maison who later became a lawyer to escape crime and poverty. Laylah had a caramel brown skin complexion with two dimples on her cheek and one on her chin. Laylah was 125 lbs with a shape of an afican goddess blessed with soft and smooth skin without blemishes. She appeared to be sweet and innocent, but mentally she was a loose cannon. Laylah will pull a trigger just to prove she doesn't play with other people’s children. Her dad could never understand how she became so ruthless at such a young age. Little did he know, it was witnessing the death of her mom during a shoot out by the local gang while bringing in groceries.
