What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Dramatic impacts that mid-life crisis had over people around me (myself included) made me realize how brutal the process can be. Suicide, divorce, ageing is life changing and far more brutal and vicious than any fiction killer could ever be. From there the idea of inner struggle literally coming to life just seemed like the next step.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
The main protagonist (Victor) embodies all the potential for raw struggle, an idealist confronted to responsibilities.
So many tiny vessels webbed under her skin, rallying excitement as her pulse speeds up.
I observe the gentle acceleration of her carotid bumping under the upper hem of the high leather neck-piece. I pull a few newtons more on the reinforced band.
Her lips get nervous, flinching almost imperceptibly for outsiders; and slowly turning into a glorious vermilion as she starts to gasp for air.
The crew will spin this into a decent advertisement campaign. Professionals always do. The story is elsewhere.
How could they truly immortalize the depth of her glare?
