What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
In my world, everyone is treated with equality, dignity, sensitivity, and empathy. I encourage one to tread the positive path – one step at a time.
I was once lost in the excessive indulgence of substance abuse – more specifically, drowning in alcohol. I never believed I had an alcohol problem and denial was my only companion, as I shunned all life-saving interventions. Reality eventually caught up with me and opened my eyes to the painful discovery of wasted years in my lonesome journey. Once I accepted the truth, all walls of resistance came tumbling down. I was able to live with the smile of endearment, the laughter of amusement, and the strength of togetherness.
It's through the years that God helped me identify and transform my weaknesses into strengths, that once, nobody thought possible.
Ever since this new journey began, life has given me the opportunity to help people come closer to seeing the true beauty of our existence. An existence that overpowers the day-to-day challenges that are beyond our control.
Life is a blessing and it's ours to share.
