Freedom is a collection of 16 short stories, with themes ranging from death to the emergence of new life.
Many of the stories have a sexual undertone.
Resonance can be found by anyone who has ever experienced any of life’s big moments.
Targeted Age Group:
18 – 70
I would characterize my writing as being raw and passionate. I write about myself or get inspiration from my own life, which results in true and heartfelt prose.
I would also say that I have a flare for sexual and dramatic tension, as well as violence.
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
My best advice for someone just starting out would be to write short stories, and write lots of them. They don’t require the attention span of a novel.
If you are hellbent on writing a novel, plan it out in a document where you summarize each chapter before starting the actual writing process.
Author Bio:
Journalist, student, author and artist from Norway, with a penchant for writing short stories. Has released one book, “Freedom”, and is working on a second.
I’ve always liked writing, especially short stories. One day I literally sat down in front of my desk and decided I was going to write a book.
Because my attention span is limited, writing short stories was the best way for me to do this, but even then it took a long while. Around two years later, my book was published with Lulu.
I was inspired a lot from events that happened in my own life, such as my class’ reaction to the new teacher we got in 8th grade. There are also a couple of stories where I am writing directly about myself, not hiding anything.
