About the Book
The crashing waves helped to divert his attention from the melancholy, which after each episode of self-inflicted sabotage, descended like a judgement from heaven. The craving for release however, which had now become an addiction, was not so easily rectified.
Returning from hospital after a car crash in which his father died, Alun aged eight, woke to the smell of gasoline, and the dead motorcyclist who caused the crash. Thirty years on as he awaited the appearance of another, uninvited, the last thing on his mind was a crusade against the very state that adopted him. Unaware that the Vatican’s influence was again about to enter his life, though not for redemption, but in desperation for his help, in tracing a killer of priests.
In this religious thriller, at times it is hard to distinguish which is fiction and which is not, because in reality, to write only the truth would be far more disturbing. As for the dead, they never answer back, or so he thought.
