A huge fan of Jane Austen, Danielle hopes to find her own Mr. Darcy when she leaves Colorado to attend art school in London. Soon after arriving, she meets Ethan Deveroux. By day, he seems like the fantasy hero she seeks. But by night, the powerful magic of an ancient curse is revealed, and instead of being the Mr. Darcy she’d imagined finding, Ethan is a vampire.

How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
I’ve been able to crossover from YA to adult because this genre seems to interest both age groups.
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
More than one editor is never enough. Make sure your cover looks professional and is designed for your target audience. Write what you love, and never give up.
I majored in photography and design in college. I then worked as a professional portrait photographer and artist for twenty years. I only recently realized that I can share the stories constantly playing through my thoughts and added writing to my list of creative endeavors.
I’ve always had an interest in fairies, mermaids, vampires, and, in truth, just about any type of fantasy or myth. When stories of these beings continued to entertain my thoughts, to the point of almost haunting me, I decided it was time to start writing them down. FATEFUL was my first finished work. I’ve published 5 books, and 1 cookbook. I have several other books in the plans. All of them will have elements of fantasy in them, along with a romantic twist.
What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
The story of The Frog Prince, my love of Jane Austen, as well as my fascination with vampires, all came together to inspire this book.
