What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I was intrigued by the idea that close family members would no idea that their loved one was a psychopath. I wanted to see how this would play out if the truth surfaced.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
I made a decision early in the planning stage that the father would be an everyman, a normal guy, a community leader, and a doting father. The daughter is flawed with normal teenage angst. I wanted these people to be real.
