This is great recognition for your novel, and for Jill’s work on the cover, John!
In terms of the cover design, I like the ghostly portrayal of the father Gothemus Draco in the background—lurking behind the blade, behind the flames—and his Fremen-like blue eyes (yes, he still has whites, but the blue pupils are so melange blue), searing into the foreground from beyond the grave.
