I know exactly what you mean, Leandra. A little SF looking, isn’t it? This is Keith’s interpretation of the Castle of Glass that is inhabited by the Lady of the Lake. The Glass Castle exists below the lake, partly on the lake bottom and partly suspended rooms and corridors and staireways made of colored or clear glass. A little later this year I’m going to ask him to take another stab at representing that, though it is a very difficult impression to generate.
I really like the background and mirror-image. I don’t think I would put this under fantasy though.
