My main character, Nick Donahue, is an American gambler living in Europe. He meets a beautiful woman in desperate need of help and is kidnapped, then embroiled in a world-wide money laundering scheme run by a Swiss bank with the NY mob as its main client. I wanted the cover to convey a feeling of intrigue, a touch of danger and and a bit of International glamour to go with Nick’s character. I think the cover captures this perfectly.
The cover is sexy and intriguing in a “Bond” way. It successfully does its job – luring you in to open it and read the story inside.

I read the story and it has a lot of humor as the guy finds himself in one predicament after another. I like the way the cover’s combination of sexy and wry–I mean look at the expression on his face!–matches the tone of the story.

To start I love the colors red and black which catches my eye. ALso it never hurts my image of a woman to be sexy and holding a gun. I am going to like that character . Poor man is so small in perspective. I wonder how he will get out of trouble!

The cover has a strong composition with the glamorous beauty holding a weapon in the foreground and the hero in the background. You can tell the protagonist is in way over his head and the story is going to be intriguing. The cover draws your attention and makes you want to read the book.
Definitely evokes the James Bond Look but in a way that moves your eye to the main character making the hot babe secondary and less important. But she’s still there for the eye candy! Well done!!

It’s sexy, it’s intriguing, it’s glamorous–and it evokes James Bond without being derivative. Black and red are highly charged colors for passion and romance, the gun adds danger…I certainly want to know what’s going on, so I think this cover’s done it’s job in a big way.
Who doesn’t like a nice pair of legs, a handsome guy and a weapon! The cover has a Monte Carlo tone about it with the choice of font for the title and the guy in the tux. The use of a red dress against a predominantly black and white cover makes it pop when I scroll on a page. The cover tells me someone will be duped, my guess is the guy is tricked by a sexy woman. Maybe a little murder thrown in as well. Nicely done.
Love how this cover captures the international intrigue glam of this book. The man, Nick, is lured into a sinister plot by a mystery woman, thus the cover shows him dwarfed by her imposing silhouette. Perfect!
I love the strong Eurographic quality of this cover…it conjures up a James-Bond-Topkapi-Monaco kind of intrigue and promises the reader some sexy escapades between the covers…

I like the look and layout of this cover, but there is one thing that bothers me: the guy in the tux’s legs seem disproportionately short, as if he has some sort of orthopedic issues. Nice cover, though.
