Comments about cover design
This cover was designed for me by my Publisher… Tirgearr Publishing. This is the first in a 3 book series and each has a robot cover which is integral to the overall story. Tirgearr came up with the cover based on the story and I couldn’t be happier !!
Very scary cover. If I liked those kinds of books, this cover would really grab my attention and make me want to read it.
This is a very well-designed cover. The title an author are clear and easy to read. The robot is beautiful with its combination of metals/coverings. Some might decry the very feminine figure, but that is half of its appeal. The familiar form in this half-oxidized, half-muted, glowing incarnation brings you in. But, the punch in this cover is the use of light and shadow. The illuminated orb that draws the observer’s and the robot’s attention: what is it? One has cause to add more personification to the robot: why is it so interested? what does it want with the orb? Give this designer a bonus. I’d pick the book up to learn more about it.
Thanks Rachel !!
