Comments about cover design
My cover artist really doesn’t need any help with ideas, but I will usually tell her a summary about the story and a small idea about what I am thinking, and she will run with it. This one was basically all her idea, with a few tweaks from me when in the beginning stage. I wanted the cover to convey the story about the protagonist (L’Landra) and her struggle with an enemy who has threatened to subdue them.
Crisp and clear with a simple design that draws the eye in – really like it
great colors and design!
Another fantastic cover by Bonnie! This artist definitely knows her stuff. Great use of color … a very Star Trek-esque image in my mind!
That is just one crazy hairdo!! Another great cover for a wonderful author and equally talented illustrator.
I have read all of Leandra’s novels with great enthusiasm and appreciation for her talent as an author. Her book covers have always expressed the intensity of her message and “Riding The Storm Out” is my favorite. There is so much symbolism surrounding the main character, L’Landra, whose strength and conviction is an inspiration to her readers. This cover tells a story in itself.
