Comments about cover design
From Carla Chadwick (Cover Designer):
The original inspiration came from stylish silhouettes I saw on various stock art sites. Since I couldn’t find images that exactly matched the characters, we collaborated with illustrator André Castelo to achieve the final results.
The color schemes came from the fact that the author and I both love bright colors!
That’s a really professional design! It looks like a lot of time was spent creating it. Its bright and attractive, which really helps it stand out.
Thanks, Lee! I appreciate the kind words, especially since you know so much about design.
Great design! The colors & image really pop & draw you to the book!
Thanks, Julie! I know you have good taste, so your comment means a lot to me.
As a writer, I was instantly drawn to this cover. At a time when book covers tend to be dark and moody, this one stands apart. While I adore the colors, there’s also a depth to the design that pulls in the potential reader. Who doesn’t want to more about the woman regarding herself in the mirror? I know do! Lovely job. Kudos to Carla Chadwick.
Shelby, your taste and book-savvy is legendary. That makes your comment really mean a lot to me.
Perfect use of colours well done..
The true test of a cover is: Does it make you want to read the book. This cover is a resounding yes.
Carla designed our three book covers and they’re great.
I love the bright colors and how well they go together it’s not to much but not to little it’s just perfect
Thanks, Shell. I couldn’t agree more. I love the colors Carla used and I think they really capture the mood and humor of the book.
What a great cover. The colors offer the perfect contrast, while blending beautifully. Well done!

I like this cover very much. It reminds me of a collage someone might create using colored paper. Nice job.
Thanks for the kind words, Alan! I’m thrilled to have my design make the finals. 🙂
