What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I enjoy writing mysteries. There are some elements from my real life in this book – the Salem Witch Trials (my ancestor was hung for being a witch) and a poet.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
My characters just come to me. I start with the idea of a general character, then pick a name, then start writing down details – what they look like, phobias, life story, etc. While writing, I feel like they become part of my family.
