Adjusting to a new school can be a truly harrowing experience, and the same counts for Thaumlinn Mudson, heir to a long line of wealthy, powerful monster slayers (or slunters). Now, at the turn of the century, Thaumlinn is expected to carry on his family name, and to fight the horrific evils that plague the world. However, life for a slunter is never easy, and the same goes for Thaumlinn, who may not survive week one! Between the training, simulated fights, a mind-reading professor (who Thaumlinn’s taken a fancy to), and even the craziness of his own team, he’s in for quite the adventure.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
For many, many years I've been a story teller and a lover of stories. I've written a lot over the years, too. Whether it was little fanfictions on the internet, or even short stories written and never released. But through all of that, I've had an inalienable appreciation of the art of writing. So I'm now taking a leap in to mass-market publication in the hopes that the entire world can enjoy my stories!
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
I bring my characters to life to embody the emotion and energy needed to bring the story in to existence. Drawing from many styles, I aim to create a living, breathing world through their struggles and relationships.
In the Void, a special little stone floats, upheld by the invisible force known as Sa.
The ancients tell that the stone once hosted three races, the elves, dark elves, and the dragons.
In the end of the First Era the dark elves and dragons conspired to wipe the elves from the face of the sacred stone. Thus, Dragonworld was filled with the victorious races of dark elves and dragons.
As a result, the dark elves and dragons began to breed, taking this little stone, known as Dragonworld, in to their own hands.
It looked as if this period of time would last indefinitely… then the dirtmen came to Dragonworld.
The dirtmen feared the dragonlords, but instead of dying quietly, they began to train themselves to fight. They founded a fighting academy named Slunter School, in the Grand Dominion of Cardiss, a final effort to survive in their new home.
These dirtmen had one particular family line which throughout their generations went on to kill many dragonlords and their dragons.
They were the Mudson family.
Today, in the first year of the 18th century D.T. Thaumlinn Mudson is the heir to the Mudson line.
And of course, Thaumlinn Mudson is one of the most respectable and competent members of society, right?
Let’s watch and see…
