Vafara is a blind composer who creates new symphonies for the world. Alone in a cabin with only her service dog, she’s not at all concerned with her lack of cellphone service in the middle of nowhere. This is her special place where she can be free to relax and let her musical compositions speak to her.
Israfel is a demon one assignment short from graduation: possession of an innocent soul. He’s always known he was different from the others of his kind, and meeting the lovely Vafara confirmed it.
Will he be able to possess the passionate violinist when all he wants to do is hold her? Or will he throw it all away and risk an all-out Angels and Demons war to save her from the dark fate that awaits her?

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I had an opened bottle of water under the spotlight of my night stand lamp. It projected a shadow in the corner of my ceiling that to me, looked like a demon perched up there looking down at me. This is where I first met Israfel.
Funny where inspiration strikes. The story itself took 3 months 1+ 2 months of editing and I can't wait for him to possess YOUR heart 😉
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
I loved Beauty and the Beast growing up. With Vafara, my heroine, being blind and the beast being a demon trying to possess her, I thought that it put a new twist to the old tale.
It is NOT easy to love a beast, NOT even when the Beauty is Blind.
Crawling in the natural shadows of the darkness, he reached the master bedroom. The light from the clock on her nightstand made him wince. He wasn’t used to the fluorescence of it. The dog lay on the floor, breathing deeply beside her bed. The creature didn’t look fierce. Definitely no hellhound. Israfel perched up on the corner of the ceiling and peered down at her. She slept on her back, but her head was turned to the right. The floral scent of her long hair spread across the pillow was beautiful, like her.
What could she have done to make her a candidate for possession?
