The year is 1923 and bootlegger and WWI veteran Jeb Chamberlain is a wanted man. On the run from the cops and stowed away on-board a ship bound for adventure in Africa, (with his beautiful and married ex-girlfriend in tow) Jeb finds himself mixed up with Brooklyn gangsters, living skeletons, and a femme fatale more dangerous than the Devil. An End To Eternity is a pulpy, romantic, one of a kind adventure story spanning continents, genre, and the layers of reality!
Written by debut novelist Dennis Badeau, An End To Eternity has been hailed as a breakout novel, with early reviews praising the book’s distinctive voice, strong female characters, and relentless pacing. Raves include “Indiana Jones meets The Great Gatsby!” and a “…vibrant, imaginative shot in the arm to the adventure genre.”

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I was inspired by my love of vintage adventure serials, and life in the roaring twenties. I couldn’t find anyone out there writing the kind of book I wanted to read, so I went out and wrote it myself!
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
The characters in the novel were created over several years. Aspects of certain characters are based upon people in my own life, but 90 percent of what’s on the page comes from the authors imagination.
