What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
As I went through the character arc development, I realized it would be necessary to show the readers his true motivations. Or, at least, give them a chance to see what happened instead of just believing his excuses in future stories.
It is a defining moment for him in many ways, and it is also based on a local legend from my childhood.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
I toyed with the ideas in this series for quite a while. And then the characters "just happened".
First I got to know the protagonist. His style and approach to problem-solving made him quite iconic to me. So, I designed his journey. And, naturally, more characters appeared in the movie going on inside my mind.
There are, of course, many methods to deliberately create characters and stories. But I'll always support the idea of letting the story happen and see where it takes you before you edit anything.

I think they said something, but I couldn’t care less. As I scanned their faces, all I could wonder was how they got here. How did turn into a criminal become the best option to feel respect and satisfaction? They looked so hardened and jaded that I could only assume nobody had shown them any empathy for quite some time.
And that’s why I knew they would help me out.
