About the author
Theresa Jacobs believes in magic, fairies, dragons, and ghosts. Yet she trusts science and thinks that aliens know way too much. When she is not at work she spends her time, reading, writing, exercising her dog, and binge-watching TV shows, with her longtime partner and fiancé.
She is also a big movie buff and a sci-fi nerd at heart.

The tale is bitter-sweet, and by the end, I felt satisfied that everything was as it ought to be. There are times when the reader might change their mind about certain characters. Karma plays a key role more than once and balances the scales.
The imagery and dialogue are good, and although I’m from the other side of the pond, I understood terminology accepted as normal by someone in the US.
An entertaining read and not too long.

Classed as YA, it would appeal to teenagers. (Memo - gift for my niece when her GCSEs are over.)
Buy it for the youngsters in your life but do treat yourself to a copy too. It's one of Theresa Jacob's best!
