The Amish Wedding: Amish Romance (The Amish of Pride Book 6) Kindle Edition
"Heartwarming!" ~ Kindle Customer
Could you overcome your haunted past for a chance at everlasting love?
After the unexpected death of his father, Amish woodworking apprentice Abram King is called home to run his family farm. But something is missing. He yearns for a wife to call his own, and to start a family.
At the wedding of a good friend, everything changes when he sees her. An angel walking down the aisle toward him, and her beauty causes his bachelor heart to skip a beat. In that moment, he decides the gorgeous stranger will belong to him. No matter what.
Sadie's been shattered by a disfiguring injury when she was seven. Born prematurely, the other children bullied and taunted her, until one day they went too far, leaving her with a devastating head injury and long-term memory loss.
She rarely leaves her house, even for Sunday services. Until she's talked into standing up for her cousin's wedding. While walking down the aisle, she sees him. The handsomest man she's ever seen. His charming smile and intriguing eyes cause her shattered heart to skip a beat.
But the most eligible in Pride is not for someone like her. And he never will be.

About the author
Emma Schwartz weaves heartfelt Amish romances that blend tradition, emotion, and a touch of playful wit. Inspired by the Amish community's faith, resilience, and connection to family, Emma's stories celebrate love in its purest, most meaningful forms.
Living in Minnesota with her husband, John, and their two spirited chocolate labs, Eli and Caleb, Emma finds endless inspiration in the beauty of simpler living. When she’s not crafting stories that transport readers to Grace Hollow and beyond, she’s often in her garden, preserving summer’s sweetness in jars of raspberry jam, or spending cherished moments with her three grandchildren.
Emma’s writing is filled with warmth, humor, and a deep admiration for the strength of faith. Her tales highlight strong, spirited heroines and the steadfast heroes who win their hearts, all while staying rooted in God’s plan. Readers know that when they pick up one of Emma’s books, they’ll laugh, cry, and swoon—and always find a message of hope.
It's tradition... with a twist!

- Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2023I enjoyed every word of this book. It seemed as though she couldn't do anything right as far as her Dad was concerned. He seemed to think his word was the only one that mattered. I don't understand why the Amish women feel the man is the King. Many would have my foot up his behind. It was nice when Abram refused to allow her to remain in her shell she had lived her whole life. I was happy for both of them.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 27, 2019Is your faith strong enough to conquer your fears? Can you believe even when it seems everyone is telling you that you aren't good enough? Eyes meeting and your heart is telling you...but is your faith strong enough?
Sadie has been hurt so many times, can she believe? Can she trust? Heartwarming story of love battling for what it wants and needs to survive.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 28, 2019Sadie doesn't leave her home for any reason, except her cousin's wedding. Severely bullied in her childhood she stays as far away as possible from people outside of her family.
Abram gets called back home after the death of his father to take over the family farm. Standing up for his friend's wedding he is completely taken as soon as he sees Sadie. Can he convince Sadie that he's the one?~
- Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2019The book just seemed to drag on forever! Not enough subject matter to hold my interest. Sort of like watching a soapopara, I skipped many pages and always knew what was happening.
