About the author
Toni Kenyon lives in Auckland with her husband (and their dog & cat) the goldfish is just squatting! She writes romance by day, sings in a band by night and in her spare (yeah, right) time she wrangles difficult heroes into line, so they can star in her next novel. Toni also loves the garden and has a special place in her heart for her fruit trees and her veggie patch. A keen amateur photographer, Toni posts "Mood of the Suburbs" shots across most of her social media profiles. She loves to hear from like-minded people, so pop on over and say 'Hi' any time.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2018“A bach (pronounced 'batch') (/ˈbætʃ/; (also called a crib in the southern half of the South Island) is a small, often very modest holiday home or beach house in New Zealand.” (Wikipedia New Zealand).
I loved this novel. I loved the genuine feeling of being in New Zealand. (No surprise since it’s where the author is from and still lives.) I loved the bits of NZ slang - all totally understandable easily enough (the reference to the “bach” that the heroine lives in being about the worst and I totally guessed it’s meaning - as confirmed by Wikipedia New Zealand). Most importantly I loved the well done and frankly beautiful romance between Harry and Grace and how it grows into a string love, and I love Harry’s relationship with his mom and the little bit seen on his relationship with his youngest brother (and clearly stated to be the same with the middle brother). I love how Grace deals with the conflicts she faces - and how this all impacts Harry. I loved the supporting characters (especially Grace’s best friend, who is clearly deserving of her own book) and the well written plot. As I said at the start, I just love this novel - and am happy to highly recommend it.

Wonderful book, great story and fun plots. Strong women and strong men, no sissies in this one! I love the New Zealand way of saying some things and always wish there was more of a differentiating spunk in the books written by the great authors of New Zealand and Australia. I want to travel to New Zealand after reading this book!!! It had great scenery and is overall a good book. I can honestly say that I am already awaiting impatiently for the next book in this series, and was sometimes wondering while reading this one - hmmmm.... will book nbr 2 deal with the twins and then hopefully the single mom from this story???? Can't wait and hope book nbr 2 will be equally good as this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars I loved it!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I can always define a really good book by how far I enter into the characters' feelings, and this had me feeling everything along with them. I was sad, happy, angry, frustrated and relieved at turns through the book, and I loved it.
