That Man Trilogy by Nelle L'Amour is a fun filled, emotional sexy romp. A classic opposites attract romance, the That Man Trilogy gives us the first three books in the five book series. I loved Blake and Jennifer's story. It is steamy, sexy, hot and fun but also very emotionally engaging. A very good read.

Jennifer is celebrating her engagement and at the club she chooses to take a dare and kiss a stranger, blindfolded. That kiss is like nothing she has ever experienced. When she removes her blindfold he is gone. Her new boss is surprised to find the blindfolded woman who kissed him is his new employee. He is drawn to her but she has to decide she doesn't want her fiance first.

This had some fun moments that made me laugh, lots of sparks flying between Blake and Jennifer and some sweet happily ever after. I am looking forward to jumping into the next book to learn more about Blake and Jennifer.

That Man Trilogy by Nelle L’Amour
This is my first time reading from this author. Love this trilogy could not put my Kindle to sleep! Amazing, funny, and very sexy romance. The "kiss" from the truth or dare game was wonderful for me as it was for Jennifer and Blake. The suspense of what was going to happen in their relationship had me on the edge of my bed ready to fall off. You need to read this set of books because you will not want to stop reading them.

I had a hard time getting into this book series at first. In my opinion it started slowly, but after a few chapters, I was able to get into the book. The characters were well developed and so was the story line. There were some confusing parts, but other than that it was a good series. I would compare this to Fifty Shades of Grey or the Cross fire series, but not completely. I would recommend this series to anyone that is looking for a good book. Once I got into this series, I had a hard time putting it down and had to read until the end.

I finally finished all five books in the series and I have to say it was pretty darn good. The story begins with the heroine having fun with her friends at a bar. They have a game of Truth or Dare. The h's friends spot the H by himself and tell the heroine that she has to reach him while blindfolded and kiss him. She manages to do just that. The kiss does all sorts of stuff to both her and the hero. It was instant love for the hero. The heroine, however, is engaged.

The h winds up working for the H. He recognizes her as the blindfolded girl, but since she was blindfolded and he took off soon after the kiss, she has no clue he was the one she kissed at the bar.

I love that the H whom was a no commitment player suddenly finds himself totally into the h despite her engaged status. His best friend’s advice to him was to eliminate the competition. He does just that during the course of his pursuit of the heroine in a very effective way. The H was very sweet and completely devoted to the heroine once he met her at the bar. He was also such a romantic. He called her his tiger. She was it for him.

I liked the h but not as much as the H. She stayed engaged to the douche until the H catches him cheating on her. I thought the h should have been more intelligent after the kiss and would have broken the engagement sooner. I did not like that she had to wait to see him cheating on her before she left him. She should have realized that she was falling love with her boss way before then.

There is an OW that keeps trying to come between the two of them. She was a mistake from his high school days. The h with help from her gal pals get even with OW right before her wedding. I thought that stunt was pretty hilarious.

There are portions of the story that are really funny especially from the H’s pov. There are dual povs and the supporting cast of friends and family balance out the story nicely. These two are perfect for each other.

I enjoyed the series and loved the H. A 3.5 star read.

Fantastic collection of the first three books in the "That Man Trilogy" all of these books have a well written storyline that hooks you right into the story from the very first page of the very first book and the characters are so well developed that I felt like I was peeking through a window watching as the story unfolded between Blake and Jennifer!

Very hot, contemporary romance. Maybe a bit too hot for some, but I actually loved it. Characters had a lot of depth, and the dialogue is pretty funny since it is likely exactly what would be going through their minds. The story keeps moving with a ton of hot sex scenes. I might have given this five stars except it needed work on the editing side. Not horrible, but grammar needs work, and even one spot said she wore jeans and a pullover sweater. The next sentence he was pulling up her skirt. Sorry, but those type of errors drive me crazy.

That Man: the Trilogy was my first introduction to all that is Nelle L'Amour's writing.
I devoured this book a few years ago, then again when The Wedding duet came out, and again this week, when That Man 6 was released into the wild, and let me tell you, Blake Burns may have been older in that one, but he was still just a scrumptiously delicious, sexy and downright seductively devil-may-care as he is in this three book series.
Meet the man who swept Jen away with just one blind-folded kiss. He made me swoon with simply that.
The story is filled with a lot of shenanigans, hot sex and a nasty bad guy, but nothing phased my man.
Love Blake and this series so, so hard.

What a way to be introduce to Nelle L'Amour's story-telling! The trilogy is mixed-bag of romance, comedy and suspense but at the heart of it all is a story that will tell you that the heart gets what the heart wants. You don't have to see things to believe that when you are meant for each other, fate will find a way for you to be together. Love it!

Really great enjoyable box set, humorous, sexy and well written. Loved all the references to other Authors and characters we all know and love.

Loved the chemistry between the two main characters Blake and Jennifer, and the chase to be together. Got to love Blake's Grandma, hilarious.

It all started with ' the kiss' .... then I found I couldn't put this book down. :-)
