What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
As a married woman in my thirties, I sometimes find myself dreading all of the big 'what ifs' in life. This book allowed me to explorer not only one of my deepest fears, but also allowed me to release some of the anxiety from life itself. What would happen to me if I was forced to start over?
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
My characters were really derived from the people in my own life. I tried to make their interaction as real to each person they were mimicking as possible. The main character is really a hodgepodge of all the beautiful and strong women who have affected by life. She represents all of the qualities from these women that I admire most. Strength, wisdom, kindness, and an abounding ability to love.

“NO! NO! NO!”. The power of her grief doubling her over and bringing her to her knees. Soon her pleading became screams, loud and guttural. Dan couldn’t tell if she was screaming from agony or anger as she kneeled there on the asphalt screaming at the sky. Screaming at God.
