What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I wanted to be able to help show others the way. Some people are lost and not sure where to start with improving their life. The purpose of this is to help show people the way and get started, one day at a time.
If you’re unsure of what types of foods to eat, here’s a quick list:
Try eating foods such as: whole grains and complex carbohydrates like rice, oatmeal, whole grain bread, sweet potatoes and the like for a steady energy source. Protein is great for building muscle and assisting your immune system. Try eating: grass fed beef, free range chicken, wild fish and even unprocessed soy. Yogurt is also a fantastic source of protein and assists with gut health, which boosts your immune system. If you happen to be using sliced meats, eat turkey and roast beef as they are taken from a whole part and not processed.
Simple carbohydrates like vegetables and fruits are easy for the body to break down and they make a quick energy source. Although some do not provide a steady energy source, eating many fruits and vegetables can give you plentiful amounts of energy. Another plus to these is that they are full of vitamins and nutrients that are typically found in those exact foods and provide great benefits!
• Your body absorbs anything and everything that you eat; therefore you are what you eat. So choose wisely.
• Eating the proper foods nourishes the body, while eating junk foods weaken the body and does not contribute to your body’s growth in a positive way.
• Your body and mind require the proper nutrients to keep them functioning at their best.
• Eating foods with antioxidants, probiotics and protein helps protect you from sickness.
• Proper nutrients prevent diseases, conditions and aids in brain function.
• Eat complex carbs for longer lasting energy.
• Incorporate healthy food into your daily routine by eating one small snack or meal per day.
