On the planet of Tempurr, a war has raged for generations between the occupants of the planet’s largest two continents, The Numarians and the Galilians. In 1950, the six generals of the Numarian armies, known as Crimson Knights, came to Earth in an attempt to recover the legendary Tempurr plates that had disappeared many generations before their time. Their goal is to keep the plates out of the hands of the Galilians, who could use them to enter the Rumok temple and open Rautpa’s gate. The gate itself holds the secret of the Crimson Light, the power wielded by the Crimson Knights and the Numarian’s only true defense against the massive Galilian armies.
Over time, the knights married and had children, but never relinquished their search. Unfortunately, their assassination by the renegade Galilian faction known as the Reapers ended that search and the constant interference by the mega corporation Chemtech caused multiple issues. Now it is up to their sons to finish what they started and prevent Rautpa’s gate from opening. Fighting against Chemtech CEO Marcus Silver and The Reapers, they will honor the wishes of their fathers’, but an unknown entity manipulates it all from the shadows, setting them up for an unexpected turn.

James Watts was born in Birmingham, Alabama in 1976. Watts has enjoyed telling stories all his life and has longed for the day to see his work in print. This dream wasn’t realized until after moving to Florida in 2004. In 2008 James Watts first short story “Scarlet Frost” was published in the anthology “Nickolaus Albert Pacione Delivers: A library of Unknown Horrors”. His first novel “Shadows and Secrets” was published by PublishAmerica in May of 2008. James Watts is a graduate of West Jefferson High School in Jefferson County, Alabama. He has 12 year old son Bailey and currently resides in Panama City, Florida.
