So far I’ve been very impressed with how unlike many sites, Book Goodies seems genuinely interested in giving authors a fair and no gimmicks way of promoting their work and learning the ropes. I don’t know how to explain it well, but many sites just seem to me hype machines that add to the noise and confusion of writers trying to get word out and readers being able to locate what they’re looking for. I appreciate the intelligent and non-obtrusive follow up mails you have sent me (which I haven’t followed through on) to make guest posts and so on. Writers like me tend to have day jobs and other distractions.
