After receiving a phone call informing him of his mother’s death, Ray Sanders returns to his small hometown of Maple Grove to tend to her burial. After returning home, however, a series of disturbing dreams and weird occurrences set out to drive him mad. With the help of a local girl he barely remembers, Ray must face an ancient evil that has plagued his family for generations.

About the Author: James Watts was born in Birmingham, Alabama in 1976. Watts has enjoyed telling stories all his life and has longed for the day to see his work in print. This dream wasn’t realized until after moving to Florida in 2004. In 2008 James Watts first short story “Scarlet Frost” was published in the anthology “Nickolaus Albert Pacione Delivers: A library of Unknown Horrors”. His first novel “Shadows and Secrets” was published by PublishAmerica in May of 2008. James Watts is a graduate of West Jefferson High School in Jefferson County, Alabama.
