What inspired you to write your memoir?
As an eleven year old boy, I was inspired by a movie called Rocky. Throughout my life, the franchise of Rocky films remained a strong part of building my character. I utilized lessons learned from the films to overcome difficult times and to achieve success when given the opportunity to reach a goal. One consistent goal in my life was to make an onscreen appearance in a Rocky movie.
After achieving one of my goals of being in a Rocky movie, a series of events and positive signs led me on a path of discovery to define the meaning and the energy behind these motivating films. The path would eventually lead me into a boxing ring as an underdog fighter to completely and universally understand the Rocky Spirit. It was this message that inspired me to share my story with others to help motivate them to follow their dreams and go the distance in life.

Felice Cantatore is an award-winning writer and media executive. He was an extra on the movie set of Rocky Balboa, and he believes in the Law of Attraction, hard work and faith. Born and raised in Queens, New York, he lives on Long Island with his family.
How did you decide how to publish your book and where is it published through:
I chose to publish my book through iUniverse, one of the largest self publishing organizations in the world. I went through a research process to look at many organizations to find the one that matched my criteria of service. iUniverse was recommended by a few self published authors in my circle of influence. The authors used their services with success.
Even after utilizing all of the research and recommendations, the final decision was made because of the iUniverse name and the connection to my story. Sometimes a good feeling is all it takes to make a decision.
