“My first sinus book was published by Ballantine. They didn’t allow pictures – too expensive. The cover was ghastly! It was bile green! So I published my second sinus book with pictures, X ray and Anatomy. The cover is lovely and the book is what I would want. My third sinus book is being published by Basic Health Publications with my requirements. I suppose there is always a give and take when the author is the expert and the publisher just wants to sell books.”

Stressed? Anxiety? Your Cure is in the Mirror. Stress makes any medical condition worse. When you are stressed you breathe rapidly; so if you count your in breath four and out breath six, you send a signal to your center to relax. In stress you tighten your jaw and other muscles. So, if you use a mirror to SEE your jaw, shoulders relax, you reduce your stress cheimicals. When you are stressed, you imagine the worst. So, if you recall using all your senses when you have a fun day at the beach, the party, etc. you flood your body with the happy fun chemicals you had that day.
Medications are used today. But, in every clinical test, for example in acute sinusitis, 84% were cured by the drug; but 72% were similarly cured by the plaebo. In the current drug Chantix, 45% were cured with the drug. But, 25% were cured when they took the placebo. Why not use the principles of why placebo work for every day illlnesses?
I specialize in scuba divers and pilots who can’t take medications; therefore I seek non-drug therapies, but based on scientific principles.
