About Lachesha W.B.:
I am a mother and wife that loves to look on the other side of Life. I see things a bit differently than most and take pride in being different. I write about my dreams, allowing my unique individuality to shine. Sometimes it’s incredible and at other times it’s not, either way its mine, and more often than not I am exceptionally pleased with my work. To me, fiction writing shows me a bit of mercy from reality. With my writing, I can bring to life how I see things in my dream world. I discover excellence that most overlook, beauty in what others find hideous, and discover peace when life is wild. People say a fiction story is merely a story that is made strictly from ones creative energy, I accept fiction as shrouded truth that enhances the creative ability.
What inspires you to write?
My dreams have always inspired me to write, I but my family inspires me to keep writing.
Tell us about your writing process.
I rarely follow the rules. I am the just do it type of writer. Each scene is written spur of the moment and every character created on the spot. I never know what I am going to add until I have started adding it. Every chapter is started from one or more of my dreams and everything else comes without too much thought.
For Fiction Writers: Do you listen (or talk to) to your characters?
I am my characters. Every character, no matter how sweet or how dark is me in some way. I have no issues with creating them because I always use something about myself to make them.
What advice would you give other writers?
Just write. Forget about what’s right and what’s wrong and just write. Don’t be afraid to be you. Writing is art and every artist is different. You can worry about the other stuff once the story is completed.
How did you decide how to publish your books?
What do you think about the future of book publishing?
The future is bright, especially for self-publishing. I think self-publishing will soon take over the writing world.
