“Funky Business” asserts the corporate world should become more attractive. It should be a place where people are getting creative and courageous entrepreneurs, a place where talent wants to live. A place where ideas are born instantly, and where amazing things are changing even faster. And again the same.
This is – the world of funky business.
Kjell Nordstrom and Jonas Ridderstrale generated manifest of the world of new business – the book “Funky Business”. In fact, business in this book is no more than a third part. Most of the text is devoted to the detection of a new world order, which become possible as a result and due to a sharp increase the role of information technology in the late nineties of the last century, in all spheres of human life.
Forget what it was before – this is the future of organizations and leaders. We are all condemned to freedom. We can not delegate to politicians and commanders understanding of the drivers of tomorrow’s society. The funky future is here, and now it all depends on those who are trying to learn the language and recipes of New Economy.
“Funky Business” – is not a tutorial, but there are plenty of interesting examples. But this book can teach. It taught to think, to think outside the box, not-as-all taught to be different in a world where everything is the same. Be different and not to be afraid of it. This book charges optimism and pushes to deeds, makes to act.
