CHARACTER
A 45 Year Romp Through the Working Life of An Emergency Mental Health Professional
CHARACTER is the sometimes funny, sometimes poignant remembrances of a psychologist/counselor of the characters (both staff and patients) who peopled his 45 years as a mental health professional — primarily dealing with emergency issues within a mental health facility. And along the way, we discover a thing or twenty about how people think and about how the way they think has a tremendous impact on how they behave.
John F. “Jack” Walsh (1937 – 2012) had a hearing disability but chose a profession that required talking to people and listening to what they had to say. He was extremely good at it. He had an uncanny ability for figuring out what the problem was and how to help. He passed away a few days before we published this book.
