Bittersweet is an anthology of three short stories:
The Anniversary – two people, each with something to tell, and an evening that ends in tragedy
The Kite Man – a melancholy tale of loneliness and grief
Therapy – a therapy session with a difference!
My name is Tim Kearsley. I was born in Northamptonshire in England, in February, 1955.
The Healing Shard is my first novel and was published in July, 2012.
Apart from writing, I love to walk and take in everything Nature has to offer. Someone said that to be interested in less than everything is a betrayal of the soul. Well, I don’t know if that’s true or not, but there are more things in this Universe to interest me than I can cover in one lifetime. My eyes are often looking to the heavens and the wonders it holds, both by day and especially by night.
I also have a keen interest in aviation and can often be found at one of the many airshows. My favourite aircraft? It’s a tough choice, but I think the Spitfire has to be the one!
I am passionate about conservation of our precious environment and actively support WWF. I abhor all forms of cruelty to animals and by far the worst cruelty on this planet occurs in factory farms. I also actively support Compassion in World Farming.
I am a member of Mensa.
I still live in Northamptonshire and I still find new things every day to astound me.
