  1. Here we go! I entered. Good luck everyone. Just not as much luck as me!

  2. Thanks for all the work you do! Great contest! And I love the author interview questions–they were a lot of fun to answer.
    http://bookgoodies.com/interview-with-author-sarah-lyons-fleming/

  3. Question: “What features would you like to see from BookGoodies that we don’t already have?”

Honestly, I can’t think of anything. Every time I thought that I have an idea, I looked at the header area of your site and saw that you already had it. Good Job!

    • Ironically, I just thought of something. I noticed that I made a typ-o in my comment above (I hate when that happens) but when I went to edit the comment- no can do. That might be a nice feature to add: ‘ability for over-enthusiastic authors to edit comment blunders” :-)

    • Deborah Carney says:

That is a WordPress feature that is beyond our control. :(

  4. Hello! I submitted my Author interview but it’s not live yet so I can’t post the link. “Submitted” :-)

    • What I like about Book Goodies is that you are very Author Friendly!

  5. I can’t copy and paste BookGoddies button. Any idea why? This is not for giveaway points.

    • Deborah Carney says:

Do you have access to html editing on your site?

  6. I love the interview questions and BookGoodies, too.

  7. I’d love to see a software/tech for writers section.

  8. http://bookgoodies.com/interview-with-author-matthew-arkin/. BookGoodies is a great place to connect with other authors, and to share information, experience, and inspiration.

  9. What features would I like to see? I love these opportunity for authors. I love that you help us reach a potential audience.

  10. Link for my author interview: http://bookgoodies.com/?s=K.E.Nowinsky
What I like about BookGoodies – is connecting with everyone <3

  11. Elle Jacklee says:

I’m so grateful for Book Goodies and their priceless support that benefits readers and writers alike! My interview can be found at: http://bookgoodies.com/interview-with-author-elle-jacklee/.

  12. AWESOME giveaway you guys have going on! What I love about BookGoodies is: A) You don’t fill my inbox up with junk, B) I can always come here and find a new author’s book and indulge in some Indie reads I probably wouldn’t have ever found on my own, and C) Your staff is so engaging and on top of things when someone comments or asks a question.

What I’d love to see: Random authors chosen to have their blogs highlighted for a week or two. I’m a blogger as well and I love to connect with my fellow Indies in this way.

    My author interview: http://bookgoodies.com/interview-with-author-jo-michaels/

Thanks for the giveaway and I hope my feedback helps in some small way. WRITE ON!

    • Deborah Carney says:

We are starting an online magazine after the first of the year and this is one of the features :)

  13. Features… that depends on whether you mean website or general. Website: I would like it if it were easier to find author interviews that are older. Mine seemed to be buried. :( General… not sure actually. Sorry.

  14. I love your site. It is very supportive and I recommend it to all my writer friends.

I think I may have put my book page instead of interview link. Have tried to go back and chnge it, but couldn’t.
    It is: http://bookgoodies.com/interview-with-author-deborah-epperson/

  15. Really enjoy BookGoodies and the great promo for THE ORANGE MOON AFFAIR, the first in my new Thomas Gunn thriller series which has gone over incredibly well, so much so the next book in the series THE JONAS TRUST DECEPTION will be out on Amazon Kindle in a few days time – yeah!!! here’s the link to my author interview: http://bookgoodies.com/interview-with-author-afn-clarke/

  16. I think author profiles would be great. We should be able to put information on to promote our sites and facebook pages, other works…etc. I know we have author interviews and guest posting. I just thought a profile would be more dynamic and something we could add to as we build our body of work.

    • Deborah Carney says:

Author Interviews are our author profiles. You add all the information you just mentioned, plus it links to all the posts you have made on BookGoodies, as long as you tagged your posts with your author name. Plus it pulls in information from your GoodReads books if you have listed a GoodReads page on your interview.

  17. I am so grateful that book goodies.com gives indie authors a chance to showcase work.
    http://bookgoodies.com/interview-with-author-geri-taylor-2/

  18. My author interview: http://bookgoodies.com/?s=michael+allen+a+river+in+the+ocean

I’m looking forward to this contest. Here’s good luck to everyone in it!

  19. I think your promotions are great

  20. My author interview is at http://bookgoodies.com/interview-with-author-laura-roberts/

This is a great giveaway, and I also love the way BookGoodies helps supports authors by dedicating pages to each of their books, along with these interviews. Keep up the good work!

  21. What would I like to see that you don’t already have? Author forums, maybe. More affordable promotion opportunities for authors on a super-tight budget :)

    • Deborah Carney says:

We do have an authors forum: http://bookgoodies.com/connect

And we have a ton of ways to promote yourself for free. I also think our $10 and $20 options for free and bargain books are pretty affordable. :)

  22. Love BookGoodies for the blog posts, author interviews, and free and bargain books sections. What’s not to love?
    My author interview: http://bookgoodies.com/interview-with-author-karen-banes/

  23. What an awesome giveaway! I submitted my author interview just a little while ago. Looking forward to seeing it live!

  24. Great site! Very supportive. Here’s the link to my interview: http://bookgoodies.com/?s=Tellulah+Darling

  25. The link to my interview http://bookgoodies.com/?s=riley+banks Would love the win some advertising for my book. Have been very lax in promoting myself lately, as I’ve been so busy promoting my website. Fingers crossed I win. My husband might believe I’m a real author (as opposed to a journalist masquerading as an author) if I could actually make some money out of it.

  26. Wow, you guys offer so many services for authors and readers it’s hard to imagine what else you could do. I’ll have to think about that.

  27. Fingers crossed. Here is the link to my author interview!
    http://bookgoodies.com/interview-with-author-ian-mccain/

  28. This site is really great for getting some outstanding publicity!

    My interview is here: http://bookgoodies.com/interview-with-author-wendy-miller/

  29. I’m hoping I did this right and have the right link! ๐Ÿ˜€

  30. http://bookgoodies.com/interview-with-author-maggie-thom/
I put the wrong link in the rafflecopter draw, I put the book link. Sorry. :) Thank you for all you do for authors.

  31. Deborah Carney says:

Many of you are posting links to your books! Please be sure to go and submit your Author Interview which is totally different from telling us about your individual books :)

    Here is the link:
    http://bookgoodies.com/contact-us/author-self-serve-interview/

I don’t want to see you lose the contest because you misunderstood the difference between the Author Interviews and the book posts :)

  32. http://bookgoodies.com/how-long-you-should-wait-to-have-sex-a-novel-by-monique-sorgen

When Deborah posted my author interview on BookGoodies and GoodReads, it definitely generated sales for me. That’s how I know that BookGoodies is one of the Goodies!

  33. I just submitted my author interview today. I’d been meaning to for months now. I just never got around to it. This contest (obviously) gave me just the incentive I needed. Thank you for doing so much to help authors promote their books!

  34. Book Goodies is very supportive to authors with all their opportunities for us to share our books & ourselves with others. The energy of this site feels very positive & heart based.

Here’s the link to my Author Interview: http://bookgoodies.com/?s=author+ellen+besso

  35. BookGoodies is one of the most indie author friendly sites on the internet. Thanks for being here for us.

  36. I am just getting acquainted with the site, so I don’t have anything to offer in terms of suggestions for other things to offer. I am very impressed with what is already here and look forward to getting better acquainted.

  37. I’d like to see more opportunities to recognize QUALITY books and authors so readers don’t have to guess!

    • Deborah Carney says:

While this is good in theory, quality can be subjective. We here at BookGoodies are not in the role of being “gatekeepers” and feel that readers are smart enough through reading the “look inside the book” to determine whether a book is of the quality they would like.

  38. http://bookgoodies.com/interview-with-author-daniel-harvell/

When I did my giveaways days for my Kindle book, BookGoodies was the first place I used to advertise it. I greatly exceeded my download expectations, so thank you!

  39. I enjoy the friendliness, particularly of Deborah.
Love being part of this forum and I stumble and bumble along my massive learning curve.
My author interview is here – http://bookgoodies.com/interview-with-author-christine-larsen/
    Christine

  40. Bookgoodies is great because it covers all the aspects of being an author–both the author him/herself and the books that person writes, promo and so on.

  41. Excited to join this contest…if only i can figure out how to add the link! Argh!

  42. What a great site and giveaway! Thanks, Bookgoodies!! http://bookgoodies.com/interview-with-author-mindy-levy/

  43. I have used BookGoodies several times in the past for free promos of my first book, Fallen Hero, and have always had a good reaction. This is an ideal promo opportunity for my latest book, So What! Stories or Whatever! So thanks again BookGoodies!

    http://bookgoodies.com/?s=G+J+Griffiths

  44. Wow! What a great opportunity for indie authors to get some free promotion. Thanks Book Goodies and keep up the good work!

    http://bookgoodies.com/?s=G+J+Griffiths

  45. BookGoodies is a great place to market your self-published book and an excellent tool for perfecting your talents as a writer/author. Posting an author interview at BookGoodies was one of my first marketing strategies: http://bookgoodies.com/?s=zari+ballard

  46. http://bookgoodies.com/?s=heidi+peltier I hope I did this right!

  47. Lance Erlick says:

This looks like a great way to get more exposure

  48. I’ve only just submitted my interview, but look forward to working with BookGoodies in the future!

  49. I wish I had time to read everyone’s book!

  50. Trying to think of something you might add… perhaps a place to read, review, and exchange books with other indie authors. Not a review exchange, but more of a place one can actually find help, such as “I’ll review, edit, or proofread your book, if you do the same for me” sorta thing. It would probably work well as a fb page. Sometimes family and friends are not super awesome when it comes to honest feedback.

  51. Thanks book goodies, this is great! I love the fact this site is so easy to use with so many great author resources!

  52. A great site for authors!
    Come say Hi:

  56. Bookgoodies author promo is a way of mixing business with pleasure!

  57. Thanks, Book Goodies! You have a great site with tons of helpful info for authors.

  58. I would very much like a way to find reviewers by genre.

  59. There are multiple things I like about this site: the freebies, the opportunities to see a large number of authors share ideas in one place, the author interviews, the chance to promote “free” days…it’s just fabulous!

  60. I actually love all the features, so I can’t think of another one I’d use ๐Ÿ˜€

  61. The interview is just submitted, but BookGoodies is an awesome place to advertise for sure! And I love the newsletter!

  62. BookGoodies has been an invaluable source of author-to-author info and advice! My interview is posted at http://bookgoodies.com/?s=interview+with+author+-+Kathleen+Dexter

  63. What a great idea. The more exposure for an indie author, the better. Thanks, Guys.

  64. I am so excited to be able to connect with readers and other authors – Thanks BookGoodies!

  65. This site is extremely helpful to authors!

I just love all the book promotion ideas and the beautiful job BookGoodies does with their author interviews! Thank you for all the opportunities and support!

  67. Really?! cannot think of a thing that you have missed. I suppose you should have a donation button. Don’t know if these work but could be useful for admin costs. Or maybe you already have one?

  68. http://bookgoodies.com/?s=interview+with+Catherine+L+Vickers

Lurrvvveee the people that run it – Friendly, Professional and well themed site.

  69. Nhys says:

What I love about this site is how incredibly proactive it is. Lots of things happening all the time. Lots of hard work going on to make that happen!

  70. I’m new to bookgoodies so still finding my way around – it’s a great site. My author interview is pending so can’t add the link yet. Hope to spend some time on the forums.

  71. Hi!

I love these competitions! Good luck to everyone entering :)
    Here’s my interview http://bookgoodies.com/dangerous-waters-by-anne-allen/

  72. As an indie writer, I’d love an easier way to find reviewers for the particular genre of any new release – if you could help with that, that would be awesome!

  73. BookGoodies has been supporting indie authors, whilst bringing new talent to the attention of its readers! What’s not to like?

    http://bookgoodies.com/interview-with-author-jams-n-roses/

  76. Thank you for support authors and promoting literacy. You dah best! http://bookgoodies.com/the-traz-by-eileen-schuh-3/

  77. I would like to be able to find reviewers by genre, adult vs. YA, etc. Finding reliable and honest reviewers is getting harder and harder!

  79. I really like BookGoodies. They are extremely helpful to authors and they have awesome promotions. Thanks for everything you do!

    My interview is here: http://bookgoodies.com/interview-with-author-patricia-arnold/

  80. Authors could maybe have a section for new releases, to post their books in the first month of release. Also allow links to books available on google play or google books would be rather funky. Thanks for everything!

    • Deborah Carney says:

We do have a space for “other” when you submit your book via the Tell Us About Your Book Form. We haven’t had any submissions from google play or google books yet.

  81. Love this resource. It seems like they will stop at nothing to help and promote authors.
    My bookgoodies children’s author interview:
    http://bookgoodies.com/interview-with-author-rebecca-bielawski/

  82. M. K. Clinton says:

Book Goodies already has so much great information it is difficult to come up with any others. The only thing I could think of is uncovering all of the ways to get your book noticed by Amazon. I’ve read several blogs and forums featuring helpful ways to get more advertising and to climb in the rankings with Amazon. Most of them I had no idea about. It would be helpful if an author had access to a list of these steps.

  83. I’d love an easy way to find reviewers by preferred genre(s).

  84. Here’s my interview: http://bookgoodies.com/natasha-holme-author-interview-with-bookgoodies. I like the forums on BookGoodies, especially the opportunity to gain valuable feedback on my book cover.

  85. I would love to see maybe more workshops for how to be a better reviewer, publisher, and author. It would be nice to be able to find better ways on how to promote ourselves, to better review others’ even if it has to be a negative review, and to be better professionals.

    • Deborah Carney says:

Those are actually in the planning stages :) Stay tuned!

  86. http://bookgoodies.com/interview-with-author-nikki-noffsinger/

I love that this is a legit place for authors, readers, publishers, and reviewers to come together and work together. Plus the giveaways and the opportunities for publishers as well as authors to get their names out there as well as their work(s) is a plus too.

  87. A great chance to let people know we are out there.

  88. Super contest. Love BookGoodies. Such a fabulous resource for authors.

  89. http://bookgoodies.com/interview-with-author-joseph-picard/

Tada! There’s my interview! What’s so great about book goodies? Deb rocks, that’s what! Can I shamelessly self promote here? WHY? Just read the interview! Or go to my site! My first book is cheap or free depending on where you get it until around oct 10.. read my site’s front page if you’re interested! Zombies! Nanotechnology! Heart wrenching funny pathetic drama! Free cake!…. well.. no.. no cake. So sorry….

  90. GReat to have you BookGoodies for all to enjoy and connect. I need a bookgoodies address.
    Only have a website. http://www.mayrussophd.com

  91. It would be great to see the trials of a publisher find self -publishing authors and pick them up.

  92. I can’t wait until the winner is chosen – best of luck to whomever it is! Thanks so much for the chance at both the contest and the interview! Neither my Goodreads site (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/18329821-undisclosed-desires) or my website (http://mo8832.wix.com/undiscloseddesires#!home/mainPage) could be placed in the boxes – something about an invalid URL – so I posted them in my author bio. Thanks so much!

  93. BookGoodies has great opportunities for authors — from the self-service interviews to reasonable ad prices. :)

  94. Alicia says:

I like the author interview features! My link is http://bookgoodies.com/interview-with-author-alicia-a-willis/

I think the feature I would like to see is maybe one free book review?

  96. I love this site! It offers so much for an indie author. My interview can be found at http://katlynnbrooke.com/index.html.

That’s me. I’m still bumbling my way through all this. Can’t say I understand what’s going on here.

  98. Heath Buckley says:

Hey I really like this site. It is easy to use and great for publicity with the author interviews and the featured book areas. Good work. Keep it up!

  99. Great for indie authors, for promotions and support

  100. It just seems to keep getting better. Improvements? You’re constantly working on that.! More prizes, maybe, given by participants?

  104. So far, I’m new to the site and haven’t had time to determine what new things I’d like to see!

  105. Great opportunity to list my free historical suspense novel, find out about other great books, meet other authors, and talk about my other thrillers.

  106. Great Giveaways! Great chances to promote your book!
